Isle a Vache, Haiti to Isla Saona, DR HEADING EAST

  • Isle a Vache (Haiti) – Excellent
  • Cabo Rojo (DR) – acceptable anchorage
  • Bahia las Aguillas – Excellent–Undiscovered
  • Isla Beata – Easy access/very nice
  • Canal Beata – Shortcut west to east or east to west
  • Barahona – Good town for provisions good inland explore location
  • Puerto Viejo, Azua – AVOID—Commercial/Military
  • Salinas – Easy access/very nice
  • Punta Palenque – Anchorage -NE to E wind only
  • Haina – River is Dirty and Commercial
  • Santo Domingo – River is Dirty and Commercial
  • La Caleta – acceptable anchorage
  • Boca Chica – Excellent
  • San Pedro de Macorís – River is Dirty and Commercial
  • Cumayasa River - A trip back in time-beautiful
  • Catalina Island – Easy access, nice but rolly
  • Rio Dulce (La Romana) – Easy access to provisions/Little anchoring space
  • Casa de Campo – Excellent (Europe in the Carib)
  • Bayahibe – Small Town—Local Color
  • Isla Saona – Excellent
